My Favourites!

 Bare Essentials
This product is great! the package I purchased was from Sephora.
Mineral Makeup is better for your skin and helps improve your skin
unlike regular makeup. It comes with 4 powders, 3 brushes and a primer.
It also comes with a DVD & instruction manual which is great for beginners!
Its so easy to use! I love that It leaves skin looking natural but still
covers all the flaws you want it to. It doesn't make my skin look
to dry or oily, and its great because it comes with a darker color which
is perfect when you get more tanned in the summer.

M.A.C FIX+
"An aqua-spritz of vitamin and minerals, infused with a calm-the-skin blend of green tea, chamomile, cucumber, topped off with the fresh, natural, energizing scent of Sugi. Adds radiance, finishes makeup. Spray it on. Skin drinks it up!"
I use this product after applying "bare minerals" or any other powder/liquid
foundation.I also use it in the morning and at night after washing my face. It sets your make-up making it look more natural, some also use it as a moisturizer; it is very light and refreshing! It smells great and comes in different scents like rose & lavender, I have the regular one. One thing I found about this powder is it also help make my make-up stay on longer, M.A.C fix+ also works great with loose pigments!

M.A.C Paint Pot(s)
aaahh-mazing! This product can be used either for color or for priming the eyelids before application of eyeshadow. As a primer it intensifies the color of eye shadows making them very vibrant. Have you ever got a really nice eye shadow, applied it and it was very faint and didn't show up the same? Use the paint pot and you will not be disappointed! They have both pearly & matte colors. Another benefit: MAC Paint Pot  Prevents creases, it keeps eyeshadow in place and looking great. It works so well, you could even sleep in it and your eye make up would still look great when you woke up! It’ll at least make it through a night of dancing with your girlfriends. It’s one of my favorite eye shadow primers I’ve tried.

smokey eyes . xox

is there anything sexier and more sophisticated than the classic Smoky Eye Look?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1) Apply your concealer, foundation and powder as you normally would.
tip: I like to wear m.a.c Fix+ after applying foundation

2) I like to start off with an eye primer, you dont have to but I find the colours look more vibrant and last longer.
tip: I am using m.a.c paint pot (Bare study)

3) apply a sheer highlighting shadow from the lash line up to the brow bone.
tip: I am using m.a.c eyeshadow (Honey Lust) Use napkin/cosmetic pad or something under your eye so eyeshadow doesn't spread all over your face.

4) it's time to get the smokey effect. You need a darker eyeshadow shade, starting at your lash line, blending up.
tip: I am using m.a.c eyeshadow (Contrast) The key here is to blend, blend, blend.

4) If you have small eyes like me go a bit over the creases of your lids, this will give the appeal of larger eyes.
tip: BLEND, BLEND, BLEND! & try to make the inner part of your eyes lighter than the outside.

5) Add a lighter color to the inner part of your eyes, this will brighten your eyes making them stand out more.
tip: Don't forget the napkin under your eyes to prevent mess! but don't worry you can clean it all up with q-tip after everything is done.

6) Apply eyeliner to your Lash Line, I like to use pencil then liquid linner extending it more to get a dramatic cat eye look.
tip: i don't know about you, but i hate waterproof!

7) Apply mascara & False eyelashes if you wear them
tip: Lashes will add volume and length to your lashes, it will also make your eyes look bigger and bolder if you have small eyes like mine.

8) Last finishing touches, I like to do my eyebrows and the rest of my make up like lip stick/gloss and blush.

Enjoy, hope this was helpful.. xox

*Reffer to other post to learn more about the products I use. ;)

My eyebrows arent normally like this, need to get them threaded! :$

curling iron

Curly hair with - curling iron :
* Heat up the curling iron before you get started :)

1) Start with brushed & untangled hair
tip: I use this look sometime with my bed head hair..
2) Prep your hair with a heat protectant to add shine & prevent from frying.
fact: It comes in serums and sprays, heat protection products are your hair's first line of defense against styling damage.
3) Part your hair in two sections separating the top of your hair from the bottom layer.
fact: This will help assure you get every piece of hair.
4) Clip the curling iron onto half an inch strand of hair starting from the bottom of the hair strand.
tip: curl your hair towards the directions you want it to go in, for example curve it under if you want an inward curl. Hold for 10 seconds or longer depending on how hot your curler gets.

5) Repeat step 4 all around you head until the bottom half is done.
tip: switch directions of the way you curl your hair on the opposite side. For example if you start with the left and curl inwards then on the right side you would do the same but inwards towards the right.

6) Once all the hair is curled, use a tiny bit of hair spray to assure the curl stays.
tip: Make sure you spray don't use to much you want your hair to still feel soft and free not crunchy.
& Spray afar so hair doesn't get to damp and crunchy from the hair spray.

7) Tie back the curled hair so it doesn't mix with the uncurled hair. & Let down the top section.

8) Repeat steps 4 until all hair is curled & spray top layer lightly with hair spray.
tip: if you have side bangs like mine, you can curl your bangs inward to blend with the rest of your hair.. it looks great either way.

9) Untie bottom section of your hair and let your curls loose! Finish with a silk/gloss serum I use biosilk.
tip: If you want tight curls just blend them together by twisting curls together, if you want it like mine more wavy looking then gently brush your fingers with the silk/gloss serum.

10) Finally your look is done! enjoy I hope my tips helped you complete the style you were looking for.

Some More tips:
* If you have flat hair and want to add volume then tease(back comb) your hair before you curl it.
* It took me a long time to perfect my look, if you fail your first time DON'T GIVE UP.. it gets easier.
* Try new and different styles with your curls; its always good to experiment.
* Don't use to much product you don't want your hair to look greasy or blotchy.
The smaller the hair in the curling iron the smaller and tighter the curl.
If you curl each strand for longer than 1 minute it will cause heat damage & could possibly just burn your hair off.
Curling creme applied after shower will help hold the curl, or mousse but not to much- too much can make it to heavy for the curl to hold.

My hair is naturally straight, this may not work if you already have curly hair.

*Make sure to always unplug the curling iron after you're finished. enjoy, xox.
